Starting on November 1st, new signs will be going up along trails in Westlake reminding everyone that motorized vehicles are not allowed on the Town’s trails. Motorized vehicles include golf carts, four-wheelers, motorcycles, and any off-highway vehicle. Our trails are intended for walking, biking, and running only. The Town of Westlake Parks Department has recently seen an increase in the use of golf carts and other motorized vehicles on sidewalks and trails which have resulted in a few near misses with pedestrians. We want users of our trail system to feel safe and have a good experience.
